01 · Who we are

Built in
the feed

VERT is a director-led, vertical-native studio for where content is going. We're the home for directors, writers and creators who don't hide their vertical work. They lead with it. Ads don't create fans. Stories, characters and formats do.

02 · What we do

Four ways in

01

Branded content

Project-based campaigns with a start and an end. Social-first directors, cast to the brief.

See the work →

02

Original shows

Serialized, a longer play. Shows we own, or series a brand funds.

See the slate →

03

Creators

The right creator for a shoot, managed start to finish.

How it works →

04

The bench

A rolling roster of directors who live vertical.

Meet them →

Most brands start with a campaign and grow into a series. We take them on that journey.

Pillar 01 · Branded content

Brand work that
plays like content

We cast every brief from the bench: comedy, sport, music, fashion, real people. Then we build it for the feed first, with the craft of a broadcast shoot.

Work from directors on our bench.

Pillar 02 · Original shows

Our slate in
development

Serialized vertical originals, built to run. Some we own outright, some are made with a brand inside the story. Each has a repeatable episode anatomy, made to be watched, shared and sponsored. Full treatments available under NDA.

Girlhood, performed.

Teenagers inside elite LA youth culture, from Calabasas to Hidden Hills. Observed reality, improvised scenes and emotional truth, shot for the phone, because that's where intimacy happens now.

Take9

A nine-episode vertical microdrama for the Take9 campaign, helping busy parents spot online scams. Real, relatable stories, never scary. Directed by Kristen Brancaccio.

From our experience

60 Second Docs

A doc-style vertical series Hope produced at Adolescent Content: one person, one minute, one real story. It's the format thinking we bring to VERT: tight, human and made to binge.

How we start

Audience
first

Every project, branded or series, starts with the people we're trying to reach. Platform data tells you what happened. Talking to people tells you why.

Go to the audience

We talk to real people across the country, not just the coasts: what they know about the brand or the issue, and where and how they watch.

Thinkers and makers

A method Hope built at Adolescent: everyday people who share insight and ideas, and creators who can turn a story around fast. We're building it again at VERT.

Then the story

Insight becomes strategy, strategy becomes story, and the story becomes a concept built to scale.

Pillar 03 · Creators

The right creator,
fully managed

We find the creator who fits the brand and the brief, then run the whole process so the brand gets the creator's voice with a production's reliability.

Identify

Talent search across platforms, matched to the audience and the idea.

Shortlist

A curated shortlist with budgets, ready for the brand to choose.

Brief

Creative brief and onboarding, so the creator knows the world.

Business affairs

Rates, usage and contracts negotiated in-house.

Deliver

On set and in post, we manage every deliverable to final.

Who owns what

Everyone works under NDA. Creators and directors come in as partners on a work-for-hire basis, and VERT owns the IP. Joint ownership is on the table when a project calls for it.

Our track record

Work that built
followings

Before VERT, Hope co-founded and led Adolescent Content for over a decade. These are campaigns she and her team produced there. They're the experience VERT is built on.
